Lactation Workshop
3 Hour Lactation Workshop for Doulas
Feeding is such a big part of helping families settle in and feel confident that their new addition is doing well. Lactation is a natural part of infant feeding, but it doesn’t always come as naturally as you’d think.
What (and how) a parent feeds their baby can be an emotional decision. Help your families reach their feeding goals, and support them in the early days of bringing their new baby home.
This course tells you everything you need to know, and won’t take up your entire day in the process. The best part? You don’t even have to take your sweats off to do it.
Course Highlights
This virtual course gives you hands-on learning to enhance your lactation support skills, practical tools for navigating common feeding challenges, and guidance on professional boundaries and collaboration with lactation consultants. And bonus, it meets the requirements for certification with DONA International.
“Trena was so wonderful to learn from. She has a calming energy and is a wealth of knowledge. She is so approachable and patient, and I consider myself lucky to have learned under her guidance.”
