The Childbirth Educator Program of Atlantic Canada, Lamaze Accredited Childbirth Educator Program strives to educate, empower, and prepare participants to deliver high quality, engaging childbirth education classes that meet Lamaze International’s high quality of standards, and support the six healthy birth practices.
The Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) credential is recognized everywhere, because our LCCE educators practice all over the world. Whether you’re an educator in the United States, Canada, Mexico or Romania, the LCCE credential is widely seen as the mark of a competent, highly qualified childbirth educator.
Forming the foundation of the organization are the Lamaze Healthy Birth Practices. These evidence-based practices, adapted from the World Health Organization, promote, protect and support natural, safe and healthy birth.
